Overview
As the twentieth century approached, the Wild West was quickly becoming less wild. The days of cowboys, outlaws, and gunfighters weren't over quite yet, though. A wanted fugitive, Billy the Kid is on the run in the American southwest. Together with his gang, the Regulators, Billy plans to escape to Mexico. When his compatriots "Doc" Spurlock and Jose Chavez are captured and sentenced to execution, though, he has no choice but to save them. Although his rescue mission is a success, Billy's problems aren't over yet. Sheriff John S. Chisum hires a former member of the regulators named Pat Garret to hunt him down. Will Billy and his gang make it to safety in Mexico, or will America's most famous outlaw finally face his comeuppance?
