In the Bahamas, four married couples come together for their traditional retreat. Instead of having a relaxing vacation, however, turmoil ensues when Sheila's troublesome ex-husband, Mike, arrives unexpectedly and shakes things up. Mike convinces a reluctant Sheila to accompany him to his chemotherapy sessions unbeknownst to her current husband, Troy. Troy soon discovers the truth at the same time that he confronts Mike for underhandedly getting him a job at the police station. Meanwhile, the other couples have their own issues to straighten out: Patricia and Gavin are on the brink of an ugly divorce; Terry and Dianne try to cope with infidelity and disconnection; and Angela's relentless insecurity continues to be a problem for Marcus. In the end, the group is forced to try harder and overlook such trivialities in order to save their marriages. |
