Overview
Gordon Gekko, a successful and wealthy stock broker lives and works by the philosophy that "greed is good." A young, up-and-coming talent, Bud Fox longs to meet Gekko and learn his methods, believing that this will bring him money, success, and ultimately happiness. The two finally meet, and Gekko takes Fox under his wing as a protege. Fox soon learns however, that Gekko's ruthlessness and greed lead him to actions and thoughts he's not sure he wants. Success, Fox learns, comes at a price, as he struggles with his family who do not approve of Fox's new life and the methods he used to attain it.
