Warren Justice hires an ambitious young reporter, Sally ‘Tally’ Atwater after viewing her homemade audition tape. Tally proves to be a rising star under Warren’s guidance and as he mentors her, he becomes ever more attracted to him. Meanwhile, Warren’s own career seems to be in a decline. Life gets hard when Tally lands a better job in Philadelphia. Tally struggles with the new job and Warren eventually comes to Philadelphia to help her. Disaster strikes when Tally takes an assignment in a local prison and a riot breaks out. Tally and her cameraman become hostages and Warren is forced to watch from the outside. Tally’s bravery leads to another advancement but it seems bad always follows good. |
