Overview
New York drag queens Vida and Noxeema decide to cash in their plane tickets to Los Angeles and buy an old Cadillac to drive across the country with their new friend Chi-Chi to compete in a drag contest in Los Angeles. They quickly find that middle America may not be quite so open to how fabulous they are. When their car breaks down in a small town they must use their wits and their many outfits to deal with not only the small minded locals but with the outright homophobic police chief that is out to put them out of commission entirely.
