Trailer | Overview The fairly campy movie "Batman Forever" returns to a vision of Batman that is more fun than dark. Batman (Val Kilmer) has to battle two new villains with the help of his faithful butler Alfred (Michael Gough) and his new sidekick Robin (Chris O'Donnell). A new love interest also arrives in the form of psychologist Dr. Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman). Part of this movie's appeal is that the villains are so likable. Both of them are as sympathetic as they are menacing, which leaves viewers more hopeful that they can be redeemed. Jim Carrey's manic energy is ideal for the role of the zany Riddler, and Tommy Lee Jones lends his gravitas to the role of Harvey Dent, a good friend when he's not Two-Face. |
