Overview
Young Bastian escapes the mundane troubles of home and school by discovering a portal to Fantasia, where he encounters the robotic giants of the evil Xayide. The sorceress convinces Bastian to make a series of wishes, which begin to erase his memory of the real world. On a desperate search for his son, Bastian's father finds the strange exploits of his wandering offspring described in a book, which show the boy clinging to his last memory and struggling to defeat Xayide in a climactic battle of wills.
