Overview
This classic World War II epic follows several different story lines, each relating to a different perspective of the D-Day invasion on the beaches of Normandy. Told from the point of view of the Americans, the British, the Free-French, and The Germans, this gritty and at times heart-wrenching story follows a huge cast of characters, all involved in different parts of the battle. While all the action takes place on June 6, 1944, the characters experience a lifetime's worth of emotions, making it, as German Marshall Rommel predicted, "The Longest Day."
