Overview
James Bond returns with the KGB and the Soviet Union on his roster of missions. Assigned to help a KGB defect from the Soviet Union, Bond finds himself disregarding orders as he fails to kill a would-be sniper. Charged with the defector, Bond safely returns him to Britain. Just as quickly, the defector is kidnapped by the Soviet Union. Struggling for clues, Bond works with the sniper, the defector's girlfriend, to find him amongst all the Soviet Union's spies and government officials. With twists at every turn, Bond discovers that the defection was a ruse. The head of the KGB, Pushkin, teams up with Bond to find the defector and solve several mysteries, including secret arms deals. With Bond on the job, he works with key Soviet officials to bring down a dangerous villain.
