Overview
Recovering from the loss of her mother, Eleanor Vance joins what she believes to be a sleep study. In actuality, Dr. David Marrow is not conducting a sleep study, but a study on fear. When Eleanor arrives at Hill House, a Massachusetts manor where the study will take place, it quickly becomes clear that something is wrong. A series of gruesome accidents and paranormal activity prove to Eleanor that there is something sinister going on at Hill House. In her pursuit to find the truth, Eleanor discovers that the former owner of the house murdered children and trapped their souls in the house. Eleanor quickly realizes she is the only one who can save the souls of the children and rid the house of evil.
