Henry, Mark’s cousin, seems a bit off, but no one seems to notice. After Mark’s mother dies and his father is called away on Business to Tokyo, Mark goes to stay with his aunt and uncle at their idyllic, lakeside Maine home. There he gets to know his cousin, a seemingly perfect boy, the apple of his parents’ eye. Slowly, Mark begins to learn the truth, as Henry’s sociopathic behavior is harder to hide from a boy his own age than from loving parents. After discovering that his cousin has killed before, Mark is forced to defend his Aunt, Uncle, and younger cousin from an increasingly diabolical Henry.
