Overview
A slumlord named Max Devlin is hit by a bus and sent to Hell as punishment for a lifetime of mistreating people. However one of Satan's assistants, Barney, offers him a deal: if Devlin can convince three people to sign over their souls in three months, he may return to his life. He is sent off to complete his challenge and soon finds a trio of targets to complete his task. But Devlin slowly begins to change as he spends time around his potential replacements, especially a young boy named Toby, wants someone to take the place of his deceased father. Devlin starts to struggle with the thought of betraying these three people for his own ends, despite the constant pestering by Barney.
