Inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan returns as the surly, .357 Magnum toting police detective in another installment of the popular series. In this outing, Callahan finds himself in the public eye, much to his chagrin, after his police work leads to the capture and jailing of a notorious criminal. His life heats up in unexpected ways when he discovers that his name has been added to a list of other celebrities who begin dying under mysterious circumstances. While investigating this so-called "Dead Pool," a macabre game in which participants choose ten celebrities they think will die first, Callahan makes some startling discoveries. As more names are crossed off the list, he struggles to learn the identity of the killer before his named is crossed-off as well. |
