Jackie divorced her husband Luke, and now leads the typical busy life of a single parent raising two kids. When her workaholic ex-husband gets the kids, they are often left in the care of his younger girlfriend Isabel. Luke's girlfriend isn't used to kids, and she has a hard time getting close to them. Jackie soon learns that she has terminal cancer. She realizes she needs to put the bitterness aside and make this situation work for the sake of her kids. Through sadness, lessons learned and forgiveness this heartbreaking situation turns into a journey of bonding and unexpected friendships. |
