Overview
When Nick and Suzanne get married, then need to figure out a way to combine their households, which includes their children. They decide to move out of the city and into the suburbs where they feel that their lives can be simpler and their children will be safer. But when they buy a "fixer-upper," they decide to hire contractor Chuck Mitchell to make their new house into a dream home. From the very beginning, it is obvious that Chuck's approach to home remodeling is extremely unique and Nick and Suzanne start to wonder if they will actually survive Chuck's business approach.
