Overview
Sarah and her long-time boyfriend, Jeff, return to her California hometown for the wedding of Sarah's younger sister. The two have announced that they are engaged to be married; however, Sarah is having thoughts about the engagement, her career, and returning to spend time with her family. She turns to her quick-witted grandmother for advice. Her grandmother tells Sarah that her mother ran away with another man a few days prior to her wedding to Sarah's father only to return and proceed with the wedding. Sarah's grandmother also clues her into other scandalous family gossip.
