Kayley wants to follow in her father's footsteps and become one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. Unfortunately, her father is killed by the evil knight Ruper. Kayley grows up with the wish to avenge her father's death and become a knight. Her mother, thinking the task too dangerous for a girl, tries unsuccessfully to stop her. Ruper returns when Kayley is an adult and kidnaps her. He plans to use her in order to sneak into Camelot and overthrow King Arthur. Kayley manages to escape into the forest and tries to find the sword Excalibur. She finds the sword with the help of a blind hermit. King Arthur is injured in a battle with Ruper. However, Kayley manages to kill Ruper, and for doing so she is allowed to become a knight. |
