Overview
In the time since being abandoned by former companion Louis, the vampire Lestat has taken a new interest. Forming a band, he finds himself a sudden god in the world of gothic rock. His music has unintended consequences when he discovers that Queen Akasha, an ancient vampire queen, has risen because of his music. When she realizes that he is responsible for disturbing her sleep, instead of killing Lestat as he had believed she might do, she decides that she wants to marry him instead.
