Overview
A woman steals money from her crooked boss and tries to get out of town before she is caught. After traveling for a while, she finds a small motel on the side of the road and she decides to stop. She finds the manager of the hotel, a young man named Norman, to be quiet and the motel is far enough off the main road that she feels comfortable stopping for the night. But Norman Bates and the Bates Motel have horrible secrets that this young woman is about to fall prey to. When she is finally reported missing, her sister hires a private detective to help hunt her down. But everyone eventually gets caught up in the horrible secrets that Norman Bates is hiding on the grounds of the old Bates Motel.
