Commandant Lassard takes pride in his academy, but budget cuts and low state funds threaten his institution. Selecting a committee to oversee the two reigning academies, the State Governor announces that only one academy will remain open, based on recruit and training success. Returning as Sergeants from their respective precincts, Mahoney, Hightower, Callahan, Tackleberry and Jones team up with Lassard to create the best police officer graduates. Assigned to different groups, each Sergeant must whip their recruits into shape, but it is not easy. With poor self-confidence and wimpy muscles, Lassard's new recruits appear to be instant losers, but the former police academy cadets see a spark in each person. Through many trials and tribulations, each recruit finds their strength and shines at police academy. |
