Overview
This black comedy focuses on the frustrations of New Yorkers Alex and Kate, who find that their apartment has become a little too close for comfort now that their daughter is a teenager. Although they own the apartment next door, they feel guilty evicting their elderly tenant Audra so that they can expand their own space. Kate decides to make the best of a bad situation by getting to know Audra and her granddaughter a bit better, but she meets with a lot of resistance from both women. Meanwhile, Kate also grapples with feeling more and more estranged from her own daughter, Abby.
