Overview
Times are tough during the era when California was the place to find heaps of gold within mines and out in the wilderness. This chance to get gold leads a farmer from Michigan to go into a partnership with a gold prospector in order to take advantage of what they see as a great adventure. Along the way they run into trouble such as hijacking a stage, kidnapping a few different ladies of the night, and even buying a sharing a wife between them. However, they also manage to turn a small camp into a booming and successful mining town. There is a great deal of singing, gambling, and drinking done along the way, but eventually they actually find time to mine gold in rather creative ways, much to the excitement of everybody in their town .
