Overview
Book of Secrets is the second installment in the National Treasure franchise. Nicholas Cage reprises his role as Benjamin Gates as the team of treasure-hunters scrambles to solve the mystery of a black market diary page that links his great-great grandfather, Thomas Gates to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. After kidnapping the President to learn the location of the legendary presidential book of secrets, the far-flung adventure takes the star-studded cast on a tour of clues from the Library of Congress, to a replica of the Statue of Liberty in Paris, and a Resolute Desk at Buckingham Place, all on their way to the fabled Cibola, the City of Gold.
