Overview
New York City police detective, Max Payne, works cold case files. He is obsessed with finding the murderer of his wife, Michelle, and their baby daughter, Rose. A street informant by the name of Trevor provides Max with crucial information concerning three drug addicts that may be involved. Max tracks the addicts to an empty train station where he gets nothing out of them. Mysterious winged creatures kill specific targets as Max joins forces with Mona, who seeks to find her sister's killer. Secret documents found among his wife's belongings leads Max to uncover a secret military project that created super soldiers. Max agrees to protect Jason Colvin from Michelle's killer so he can expose the Valkyr project. Max fights Michelle's killer to the end.
