What would it be like to walk on the moon? Real footage and computer generated imagery combine to provide a 3D sense of the beauties and wonder of the moon. Apollo astronauts show what it was really like, while a narrator guides a discussion about the wonders and challenges of a moon walk. Children join in the wondering about the excitement of astronaut life. The narrator considers the potential perils if something had ever gone wrong on the moon’s surface, and presents information about emergency back-up plans that fortunately never had to be put into motion.
