Overview
Kate McKay lives in a New York City apartment with her brother and works as an ad-executive. Her next door neighbor Stuart somehow discovers a portal in time and visits the 1870's, only to have Leopold, a member of the aristocracy, follow him back to present day New York. Leopold's refreshing gentlemanly manners and awestruck wonder at modern conveniences charm Kate. She falls in love with him and forsakes the advances of her overzealous boss and the lure of a huge promotion to follow Leopold all the way back to the 1870's through the same time portal that's reached by jumping of a New York City bridge, and the two live contentedly as husband and wife.
