Overview
When two gynecologists researchers, Doctors Hesse and Arbogast, discover that the FDA will not approve the testing of their new fertility drug, they take matters into their own hands. Aborgast convinces Hesse to let himself become impregnated so he can trust the drug. The two men then have to work to conceal this strange secret. Hesse deals with all the emotional and physical changes of pregnancy, and ends up feeling like a wreck. Dr. Reddin, a woman doctor who donated to their work, commiserates with him. She also reveals that it is her child whom Hesse is carrying. Meanwhile, Aborgast and his wife also have a baby, and they are able to fool the press so they don’t find out about Hesse.
