Overview
David Rice is a down-on-his-luck high schooler in Ann Arbor. Abandoned by his mother, bullied at school, and living with an alcoholic father, David's life leaves something to be desired. One light in his life is his crush on his classmate Millie. One day he nearly drowns and discovers that he can teleport to anyplace on earth with a simple thought. Pleased with his new talent, he heads to New York City, robs a bank, and suddenly finds himself on the run from strange government agents. Eight years later the hunters track him down. He searches for Millie and asks her to come on the run with him, only belatedly realizing exactly how dangerous and serious these hunters are.
