Overview
Joe is an ordinary fellow who works at a company where he is made to feel like a nobody. After the hypochondriac discovers from a doctor that he has a rare disease, Joe decides to take his job and shove it. He elects to spend the remainder of his days in luxury thanks to the offer of being a human sacrifice on a distant island. Joe embarks on an epic quest on which he is able to truly live for the first time in his existence. Because he's been paid in advance, he can spare no expense in his last days, but he learns the best things in life are free, most notably the relationships he forges with those around him as he embraces life.
