Overview
It’s Complicated is a film that explores the complexity involved in the unexpected reunion of a once-married couple in their early 60’s. The successful couple, who share three children between the two of them, reunites romantically while attending their son’s college graduation out of state. The father, who left his family to marry a younger woman, appears to regret his decision to leave and continuously tries to keep his new relationship from interfering with the reunion with his ex-wife, yet fails. It’s Complicated is exactly the phrase to describe this awkward reunion, and this film explores the outcome of choosing to do so.
