Overview
Twelve year old Meggie has spent her life on the road with her father, Mo, searching for and repairing antique books, since her mother's disappearance when she was an infant. Meggie learns that her father, know as a Silver Tongue, has the amazing ability to read stories to life. Meggie and her father soon embark on a quest to defeat the storybook villain, Capricorn, who had been freed from the book Inkheart, the same book that Meggie's mother, Resa, disappeared into. They join together with Meggie's eccentric great aunt and the Inkheart character Dustfinger, who will do almost anything to return to the pages of the book. The unlikely group must band together to defeat Capricorn before he finds a way to change their reality into his own.
