Jack and Bones are two slacker losers who want to start a business but have absolutely no money. They decide that the best way to start pulling themselves up by their bootstraps is to join the army, which will teach them discipline and give them a decent paycheck. They find themselves pretty out of their depth in basic training but persevere nonetheless. Still, they joined the army with the intention of having a nice safe job. They never thought that they would have to see combat. Hence, they are woefully unprepared when they wind up in Africa in the midst of a war zone. Somehow, these men will have to find the hidden reserves of strength and skill in themselves as they defend their country. |
