Overview
In the final months of World War II, a lone Finnish gold prospector named Aatami Korpi strikes it rich in the Lapland wilderness. But when he sets out to bring his newfound wealth back to civilization, he is pursued by a platoon of Nazi soldiers led by a brutal SS officer. Korpi is forced to use all of his wilderness survival skills and his inner strength, or sisu, to outwit and outfight his Nazi pursuers. In the end, Korpi's sisu triumphs, and he is able to return to his home with his gold.
