Overview
In the future, 2024, Earth has lost its ozone layer and is protected from deadly solar radiation by a shield constructed by Connor MacLeod, the Highlander, years before. MacLeod is no longer immortal, but just an old man, having lost his immortality after defeating all the other Immortals on Earth. Because the planet is in a state of constant night, humanity begins to decline and lose hope, believing they are at the mercy of the corporation that controls the shield. Then other Immortals begin to appear. MacLeod regains his immortality and, joined by a reborn Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez, must fight again to save the world from myriad forces, including other Immortals, bent on destruction and chaos.
