Overview
The Legion of Superheroes is an animated superhero film based on popular DC Comics characters. The movie follows the adventures of Kara, a young Kryptonian girl who was sent away from her doomed home planet and has now crash-landed on Earth. Here she is taken in by Superman, who mentors her as she struggles to adjust to her new life. As if this wasn't enough, a mysterious group called the Dark Circle is also after Kara: they are searching for a powerful weapon hidden in the Academy's vault, which could prove disastrous if it falls into the wrong hands. As Kara learns more about herself and her newfound friends, she discovers that she holds more power than anyone could have ever imagined and a deep connection with the past that will help them face their greatest challenge yet.
