A gullible 26-year-old girl who lives on the borders of Los Angeles with her mother and sister has a dream of becoming famous. This dream is made harder by the fact she is coping with serious health issues, including a hysterectomy that has left her seriously hurt physically and emotionally. She also feels inferior to her mother and sister, who seem well-versed in social trends. In an attempt to make her path to success easier, she starts an affair with her employer, who is much older than her and married. Will this affair help her overcome her shortcomings? |
