Neil Bennet goes on vacation to Acapulco in the company of his sister and her two children. Although they engage in lots of fun, Neil does not enjoy it.
Someone calls Alice and informs her that her mother is hospitalized. The family prepares to leave, and Alice is called again and told her mother is no more. Neil pretends to have left his passport at the hotel, prompting the family to leave him.
Neil returns to Acapulco and starts dating Berenice, a local in the town. Days later, Alice returns to the town and confronts Neil. He gives up his inheritance and assets in the family meat processing business, and Alice leaves. Unfortunately, criminals kill Alice on her way to the airport.
Later, the police arrest Neil as the main suspect in the shooting. He later gets out of prison with the help of the family lawyer, Richard. He later signs off his rights in the family company to Alice's children. Berenice takes him to the hospital a few days later, where the doctors diagnose him with brain cancer. |
