Overview
Based on a true story, in 1942 Freddy and Walter, two Jewish Slovakian men, are taken to Auschwitz, a Nazi concentration camp. After nearly two years of being subject to the atrocities of the camp, they manage to escape with the help of their fellow inmates. However, Freddy and Walter are not out of harm's way yet and must face the wilderness of the mountains on their way back to Slovakia. Finally they find their way to the Red Cross where they tell their harrowing tale of the realities that the Jewish prisoners face inside the Nazi death camp.
