Overview
New Order is a French-Mexican thriller based around the social difficulties that are a part of Mexico. When people at a high-society wedding are taken hostage by rioters in the name of revolution, a spotlight is shown on how the underprivileged live within the nation's population. The Mexican military, using the ongoing riots as an excuse, stages a coup and forms a dictatorship that keeps the populace under its control. With the new government's actions becoming more brutal, the uprising may have lost its chance to change things for the better.
