Harriet is a curious young girl who likes to observe the world around her and record her observations in a secret journal. Not only does Harriet record what she sees, but she uses the journal to record how she reacts to what she sees, even when the information seems less than kind. When her journal goes missing and her schoolmates, including her two best friends, find and read it, all of her class turns against her. Soon, Harriet also loses her nanny after her mother and the nanny get into a fight. Harriet must learn to cope with the changes in her life as well as the problems her journal has caused. |
