Overview
Val is a meek nurse trainee just starting out at a London hospital. The year is 1974 when striking coal miners were disrupting power supplies across the U.K. causing widespread blackouts. In a hospital struggling to keep the lights on, Val also soon discovers widespread abuses at the hospital. That's only the beginning of her problems because she is about to encounter an evil spirit lurking in the newly darkened hallways of the hospital. The malevolent entity takes possession of Val complicating her struggle to survive in an already dysfunctional facility where sickness and death have the upper hand.
