Overview
Emma Payne is a black New York street singer who wins a contest to have lunch with an elderly white comedy writer named Charlie Burnz. Although she doesn't even know who he is, due to the fact that there is a big generation gap between them, she decides to go on and accept her prize. Their lunch meeting gets off to an awkward start, and many hilarious moments ensue, but they eventually learn more about each other, and they end up forming a deep connection that proves that real friendship has nothing to do with age, which is what their new bond teaches them as they continue to grow closer.
