Overview
Explores the organ transplant system and the tough decisions that have to be made when doctors and other members of a hospital committee try to determine which patient is most deserving of a live-saving organ. A new heart has just become available at St. Patrick's Hospital, and the committee, which consists of three doctors, a nurse, a mental health worker, a social worker and a priest, have to choose which one of the three patients at the hospital who need a new heart should get it. Seven years after making their choice, the committee members are struggling to deal with the consequences of it.
