Overview
Machete Cortez is a trained killing machine who has worked with the U.S. government in the past to bring down some particularly nasty threats to American security. He continues to live a dangerous lifestyle as he hunts down violent criminals, and that often comes with a cost to his personal life. On a trip to Mexico, he suffers the devastating loss of his girlfriend Santana when she is murdered by some of the men he hunts. Shortly thereafter, the President of the United States implores him to take on a mission for him. A madman named Marcos Mendez has gotten ahold of a nuclear weapon, and he is threatening to blow up Washington, D.C. Can Machete's rage fuel him in bringing down this dire threat?
