Overview
Two American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, are assigned to a NATO convoy guarding a cargo of advanced nanotech warhead missiles. When the convoy is ambushed by terrorists, the two are rescued by members of an elite military unit known as GI Joe. Duke and Ripcord are then taken to the Joe's headquarters beneath the Egyptian desert, along with the warheads. The terrorist leader, McCullen, sends his elite operatives Baroness, Storm Shadow and Zartan to raid Joe headquarters and steal the warheads. Duke, Ripcord and the rest of GI Joe pursue the terrorists from Paris to the Arctic in an effort to prevent the warheads from being launched against major world capitals.
