Overview
After realizing that a kidnapping was merely a diversion designed to allow Catwoman to steal ransom money, Batman chases after her. He sustains a serious head injury when his grappling hook fails mid-swing. Batman eventually heals and eventually learns that Catwoman wasn't the real mastermind behind the plot. Poison Ivy brainwashed Catwoman using one of her plant extracts. When Bruce Waynes realizes that Catwoman was also a victim, the revelation gives the hero an opportunity to honestly explore his mixed up feelings about her. In the meantime, a figure known as Hush observes from the background. Hush wants to watch the Bat fall in every way. As Poison Ivy continues to use her mind control on heroes and villains alike around the city, Batman, Catwoman and others realize that Poison Ivy is merely a tool. They must track down and stop Hush once and for all.
