Overview
The horror-comedy Santa Clarita Diet takes place in Santa Clarita, California. At the start of the show, the lives of couple, Joel and Sheila Hammond who are real estate agents, are suddenly turned upside down as Sheila unexpectedly deals with a supernatural obstacle: her physical transformation into a zombie. With Sheila's newfound lifestyle, the suburban couple and their daughter Abby now have to deal with Sheila's flesh-craving tendencies. If that isn't enough, the family also has to deal with living next door to law enforcement, other inane neighbors with their own issues, and a potential cure just out of reach.
