Overview
Gloria Mundy is a reclusive librarian who has been recently divorced. One day, she gives a lift to a motorist who is stranded on the side of the road named Scotty. They make a date, and during their date Scotty is shot in a movie theater. He tells her to be aware of a dwarf before he dies. She goes to get help, but Scotty’s body is gone when she gets back. She is then chased by a series of scary strangers, including a dwarf. They all seem like they are trying to kill her. When she gets home, she is attacked by a man with a scar. She thinks she kills him, and she calls the cops. However, when they arrive, there is no dead body. She is at a loss, and she wonders when the nightmare will end.
