Philip Brainard is your typical absent-minded professor. He's working so hard on his latest invention that he keeps forgetting to attend his own wedding, much to the chagrin of his fiancee Sara. With the help of his girl Friday, a robot named Weebo, the professor invents flying rubber. Flubber can make things fly. The professor is so busy trying it on his car and the basketball team that he nearly loses Sara entirely. His ex-partner has designs on his invention and on Sara. Weebo gets a crush on the professor. There’s also a problem with an unhappy student. Madcap antics ensue until it's all sorted out in the end. Flubber proves a success, and the professor and Sara get their happily ever after. |
