Overview
A woman living in Nova Scotia dealing with arthritis is dealt many blows in life that includes finding out her family home has been sold unbeknownst to her. She then gets pregnant and is told by her brother and aunt that her baby died at birth because of deformities. She becomes a housekeeper and begins to perfect her skills as an artist, which leads to her life turning around for the better.
